I am happy to introduce a new guest to the show, Matt Badiali. Matt just started up a new newsletter called New Energy. He is a geologist by education, an investment analyst by profession, and a writer by nature. He began researching and writing about natural resource investments in 2004.

Since this is Matt’s first time on the show we have him share his background in the resource sector and areas he has covered in the past. We then take a big picture look at the resource sector, specifically energy. We discuss how ESG is now a key driver for companies and investors. We also discuss the shift toward green energy but balanced with the need for older energy sources. In future interviews we will get more into the companies Matt is covering and how he is managing a new energy portfolio.
